Please read these terms carefully before using 5iTech TempMail and its temporary email service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using 5iTech TempMail (“Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. About 5iTech TempMail
5iTech TempMail is a web-based temporary email service that allows users to create disposable email addresses for short-term and non-critical email receiving purposes.
The Service is designed to help users receive verification emails, OTP codes, temporary registrations and other short-term messages without unnecessarily exposing their primary email address.
3. Temporary Mailboxes and Retention
Temporary email addresses and mailboxes are provided for short-term use and may be created without traditional account registration.
Temporary mailboxes and messages are retained only according to the Service’s current retention and storage configuration. The retention period may change from time to time.
When a mailbox expires or is deleted, access to that mailbox and its stored messages may no longer be available.
Important: Temporary email should not be treated as a permanent mailbox or as a reliable long-term archive for important communications.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use 5iTech TempMail only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not use the Service for:
- Illegal activities or fraudulent purposes.
- Sending spam, malicious content or harmful communications.
- Violating applicable laws, regulations or third-party rights.
- Impersonating another person, organization or entity.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts or services.
- Circumventing security, verification or access-control measures of other services.
- Using the Service in a manner that could damage, overload or interfere with its operation.
5. Prohibited and Abusive Activities
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe that a mailbox or the Service is being used for abuse, unlawful activity, malicious behavior or violation of these Terms.
We may also take reasonable technical or administrative measures to protect the Service, its infrastructure, other users and third parties.
6. Email Content and Third-Party Services
5iTech TempMail does not control the content of emails delivered to temporary mailboxes by third parties.
Emails may contain links, attachments or content originating from third-party senders. You are responsible for exercising appropriate caution when viewing or interacting with email content.
We are not responsible for the content, security, availability or practices of third-party websites or services accessed through email messages.
7. Privacy and Data Handling
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy .
Temporary mailbox information and received messages may be processed and stored as necessary to operate the Service and according to its current technical configuration.
Because temporary mailboxes are intended for short-term use, you should not use them for information that requires permanent availability or long-term recovery.
8. Service Availability
We aim to keep 5iTech TempMail available and functional, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical problems, infrastructure issues, security measures, network failures or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
9. No Warranty
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee:
- Continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the Service.
- Delivery or receipt of every email sent to a temporary address.
- That every email provider or third-party service will accept temporary email addresses.
- Protection against every possible security threat or malicious message.
- Permanent availability of any temporary mailbox or message.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 5iTech and its operators shall not be responsible for losses or damages arising from or related to:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
- Loss, deletion, expiration or unavailability of temporary emails or mailboxes.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of transmissions.
- Actions or omissions of third-party email senders, providers or services.
- Any other matter relating to the Service, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
11. Changes to the Service
We may modify, improve, restrict, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
This may include changes to available domains, mailbox functionality, storage, retention, technical limits, interface features or other Service configurations.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service where necessary, including where a user violates these Terms, engages in abusive activity or creates a security or operational risk.
We may also remove or disable temporary mailboxes in accordance with the Service’s operational, security and retention policies.
13. Important Accounts and Sensitive Information
Temporary email is intended for short-term, non-critical use.
We strongly recommend that you do not use temporary email addresses for:
- Banking and financial services.
- Government accounts and important official services.
- Medical or healthcare accounts.
- Password recovery or account recovery.
- Important business or personal accounts requiring permanent access.
14. Third-Party Links
The Service or emails received through the Service may contain links to third-party websites.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Visiting external websites is at your own discretion and risk.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, applicable requirements or our operating practices.
When the Terms are updated, the “Last Updated” date may be changed accordingly.
Your continued use of 5iTech TempMail after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
